Are you creative enough to become a Personal Stylist?

Are you creative enough to become a Personal Stylist?

Have you noticed that when things are meant to be, everything just flows? You no longer have to push the jammed door or struggle to find the right key; the door almost just opens up for you? This is exactly what happened to me once I made the decision to become a Personal Stylist, yes it took me a long time to get to that decision but once I decided personal styling was my calling everything fell into place, it’s almost as if the angels above we’re rejoicing saying: “finally, she’s listened to all the signs we’ve been placing in […]

I can and I will, watch me!

I can and I will, watch me!

To become a Personal Stylist in my opinion there are 3 requisites: Firstly of course you have to love clothes and putting looks together (Styling), secondly you have to be good with people as it’s (Personal) but to become a successful Personal Stylist and by successful I mean being able to meet your financial goals there is another far more important requisite, a requisite where the clue isn’t in the title and that is you need to have the determination to succeed! Why not offer Personal Styling to your existing database of clients and double your income?

Why not offer Personal Styling to your existing database of clients and double your income?

At our training academy we train so many different types of women but a growing group is the woman who already is self-employed, either full or part-time. Now most stores from Gap to Harrods have an in-house Personal Shopping team, where appointments are pre-booked, the personal shopper gets a real understanding of her clients brief, including her […]

Can you bring out the best in someone?

Can you bring out the best in someone?

When people enquire on our website to attend one of our training courses we always ask for a phone number, actually unless you give us a number to contact you on the enquiry form doesn’t reach us. Why do we ask for your phone number? It’s because we want to speak to you! Not only to get to know your requirements but essentially to gage if a career in personal styling is actually for you. If we feel it’s not, we promise not to waste your time (and money) giving you false hopes that you’d be great at it. […]

Your first client is you!

Your first client is you!

No matter who walks through the doors of our academy I always say: “your first client is you!” By no means am I trying to insult them by thinking they are not stylish enough to be a Personal Stylist what I’m implying is that there is always room for improvement in everyone of us, myself included. I remember before I went on my own colour analysis training, I honestly thought because I had good youthful olive skin, I could wear any colour I wanted. Wow I was soon (subtly) shown exactly how much older and heavier I could look in […]
