“What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?”…

Your questions answered…

Do you need a fashion background to become a Personal Stylist?

Not at all, though what is required is passion for fashion, style and shopping!

Do you have to be of a certain age to become a Personal Stylist?

No, a career in Personal Styling is suited to men and women of any age. A great Personal Stylist knows his or her target audience and identifies with them on some level which means they can quickly build a relationship with them.

What qualifications do you need to be a Personal Stylist?

Luckily you don’t need any qualifications, what you do need is a great reputation and that is earned with experience and good training from industry experts on all the key services. Although Style ME give you a certificate post training, no client will ever ask to see it, which is why being accredited is not essential.

How much money can you make as a Personal Stylist?

Like anything it all depends on how hard you are prepared to work but the earning potential is fantastic! We know stylists that have given up 6 figure salaries to do this and they have never looked back. However getting the clients is the most important thing, there’s no point in being this fantastic stylist sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring, so by having the ongoing mentoring we are at hand to offer you tangible ways to grow your business.

Being trained on all the Personal Styling modules instantly gives you the opportunity to up-sell to the other services. Style ME Stylists charge £150 for Colour Analysis, £150 for Wardrobe Styling, £300 for Personal Shopping and offer various styling packages, so if each client pays around £500 with just 1 client per week you can make around £2000 a month minimum.

How will I get my clients?

Once you’ve been trained on all the modules, Style ME Training offer a Membership/ Mentoring service. This includes a Business Planning and Marketing session where they will help identify your target audience and establish tangible ways to build your personal client base. You will also automatically have access to Style ME’s Personal Styling website www.stylemeuk.com and have your profile added to their directory of stylists so effectively you can start working straight away!

Does that mean I will be tied to the Style ME brand?

No, you have the option of building your own website and brand, however having your details on Style ME’s directory of stylists can just be an incremental way to generate new business. It is important to note that whilst Style ME are on hand to advise and guide you in building your business, Style ME will not take any commission from your sales as many other ‘franchised’ Personal Styling Agencies do. It is more like a soft franchise, there are no incremental costs post training, but the mentoring is ongoing.

Why should I choose Style ME Training Academy?

You couldn’t be in safer hands! We are experts in our field and have been in the styling industry for over 10 years. We have a fantastic reputation both nationally and internationally with both corporate and private clients as well as high profile fashion Retailers looking to train their staff to become stylists.
