January is finally over! So how was it for you? I have to say, I’ve had an amazing January. Whilst many of you were struggling through ‘Dry January’ I was overindulging, drinking my body weight in red wine whilst on a two week holiday to Argentina, yes Argentina; the home of Malbec, great steaks and breath taking scenery! I had a fantastic trip but unlike my friends who were dreading going back to work, I was smugly unaffected… as I’ve said it before many a time, “Do a job you love and it really doesn’t feel like work”.
I’ve come back refreshed and motivated ready to kick-start 2016! A lot is happening with us, we’ve got some great new launches coming this year in both the Academy and the Personal Styling Agency that I look forward to sharing with you soon.
I can’t believe it’s been a year since we launched the ‘Intensive Training Course’, it’s been a tremendous success and we’re super proud of all the wonderful Personal Stylists that committed to the training 100% and as a result are now working as ‘paid’ Personal Stylists following their dreams.
They really are incredible woman that I love mentoring. For any of you who are looking for some inspiration and perhaps a little motivation to pursue your dream career as a Personal Stylist, every Monday we will be introducing a new Style ME Stylist on Facebook. You’ll be surprised just how different they all are from each other but just how similar they are to you!
We’re also giving our Facebook page a little revamp. We get so many emails with people asking for styling and shopping tips, so we’ve decided to share our knowledge with you. Every Tuesday we’ll be answering any styling dilemmas that you may have, so feel free to ask, nothing is off limits! Every Friday we’ll be giving you a little taster to what’s out there in the stores, that’s perfect for your shape and budget prior to you hitting the shops in the weekend! And we know you all love our take on celebrities, so on Thursday’s when you’re winding down at work, why not grab a cup of tea and a biscuit and see if your favourite celebrities have been dressing right and wrong for their shape and colouring that week?
