Style ME Training
Style ME Training

If you’re thinking about training to become a Personal Stylist you’re probably doing your research and hopefully seeing that due to lockdown, nobody is offering face-to-face training. Instead, most academies are offering some form of training online, which should give you the reassurance that the personal styling industry is still very much alive and we all anticipate people will be hiring personal stylists again in the near future.

As with any research, there can often be a lot of confusion. Many academies only send out a brochure/prospectus so you don’t always get your questions answered. At Style ME Training I prefer to get potential delegates on the phone, firstly to see if we’re the right fit and then to of course answer any questions. One question that’s been coming up a lot is: “Is there a difference between e-learning and Virtual Training?” And the answer is: “Yes!”

E-Learning usually consists of:

  • Pre-recorded presentation/tutorial decks for each module that you can complete in your own time.
  • A different module taught each week.
  • ‘Live’ – Q&A sessions with the tutor and other delegates after each module.
  • An extended timeframe to complete the course vs. during the training face to face. (Weeks vs. days)
  • Group training via Zoom.

Virtual Training with Style ME Training consists of:

  • The exact presentation deck used @ the face-to-face training, delivered by me sharing my screen with the delegate, going through each slide, point by point.
  • It’s delivered in the same amount of time as if you were actually with me at our Academy. It’s not a pre-recorded presentation so we’re with each other the whole time.
  • There’s no need for ‘live’ Q&A slots because you’re asking me questions directly as we go along.
  • The Training’s theory is completed in the same amount of time as if you were doing the training at the London Academy, ie in 1 day (single module courses) /3 days (Essential Training Course)/ 5 days (Intensive Training Course) which means you learn all the modules in a shorter time instead of waiting weeks to become qualified/trained.
  • All training is done as a one-on-one basis so you’re not being overshadowed by any other delegates questions and pace.

Hopefully I’ve made things clearer, please do get in touch for a chat if you have any further questions, just know that I’ve been offering Virtual Training to my international clients for years so it’s a tried and tested formula and not something I’ve had to create due to the pandemic so I 100% know it works.
