Why not offer Personal Styling to your existing database of clients and double your income?

Why not offer Personal Styling to your existing database of clients and double your income?

At our training academy we train so many different types of women but a growing group is the woman who already is self-employed, either full or part-time. This could be the woman who has a particular skillset such as the Make-up artist, beautician or hairdresser or it could be the sales savvy women selling products such as jewellery (Stella and Dot stylists) or even make-up (Avon or Mary K representatives). One thing all these women have in common is that they already have a database of clients and most importantly they know how to network and market themselves.   These […]

Is 50 the new 30?

Is 50 the new 30?

Correct me if I’m wrong but reaching 50 used to mark the beginning of old age, or at least that’s how my mum perceived it as she approached her 50th birthday (15 years ago). But she needn’t have been depressed because her 50’s in reflection were probably her best years yet. Why? Because by the time a woman reaches her 50’s she finally knows who she is! What she has accomplished, whether it’s raising a family, or raising a career, maintaining a long marriage, getting divorced or caring for elderly parents, allows her to accept that she is a survivor […]

Are you tired of working on the Shop Floor wishing you were a Personal Shopper?

Are you tired of working on the Shop Floor wishing you were a Personal Shopper?

Very often when I’m in store Personal Shopping with a client, I feel the staff are watching me, not in a bad way I might add but almost with a longing gaze. They initially hover around me asking if I need their help but once they can see I’ve got things covered they soon wander off. They watch me confidently choose items for my client and are usually in shock at how everything we take into the fitting room fits them like a glove. Of course it’s because I’m dressing my client in their right colours and shape but for […]

After two successful years teaching this model, we soon found that our customers wanted more intense training, learning everything there is to get started as a stylists and run a successful business so we introduced our 5 day Intensive course…but there was still […]

Why every mother requires a Personal Stylist

Why every mother requires a Personal Stylist

Our primary delegate group at our Training Academy is the mum market. These mums get trained on how to become a Personal Stylist and then go and style their target audience who surprise surprise are other mums. These mums can be identified in two groups; the first being the woman who after months of slobbering around in shapeless clothes is now panicked about returning to work after her maternity leave. She’s looking at her ‘work’ wardrobe that she probably hasn’t laid eyes on in months, in some cases years and is asking herself “Can I still get away with these? […]

Wardrobe styling…how does it work?

Wardrobe styling...how does it work?

Hopefully the message is now loud and clear that Dressing Your Shape is the easiest and most effective way to looking great and believe me when I say this there’s no better service than a Wardrobe Styling session, that takes place in the comfort and privacy of your own home to teach you the rules on how to dress your best. However, I think there’s a bit of confusion as to what actually takes place during a Wardrobe Styling session, so I thought I should clear up any misconceptions. Firstly, none of our Style ME stylists will arrive at your […]
